POWERVR Insider Bubble UI Demo

The BubbleUI demonstration is a proof-of-concept demonstration for an next-generation STB or HDTV Graphical User Interface and shows advanced concepts such as alpha blended 3D objects, texture streaming, smooth animations and transitions, 3D icons and procedural deformations. On real-platforms the grey background is replaced by video content which is steamed efficiently and with minimal bandwidth consumption (no redundant expensive data copy or conversion operations) using the Imagination Technologies Texture Streaming Extension available on a wide range of POWERVR enabled platforms. Both POWERVR MBX and SGX families enable full HD resolution rendering at high performance.
