PVRTexLib v4.02


PC EmulationPVRTexLib is a C++ library that gives developers access to the functionality of PVRTexTool in their own programs. It works with bitmap and texture data, providing various pre-processing functions, surface management and encoding to texture formats supported by PowerVR hardware. Texture encoding support includes the acclaimed PVRTC and new PVRTC2, as well as formats such as ETC and a multitude of uncompressed formats. The library works with raw data and with the PVR file type; a flexible and lightweight texture container format. This library is provided for easy integration with custom artwork toolchains and is available for Windows, Mac OS
and Linux.

New update:

  • Fixed bug with selecting Alpha flag in legacy PVR2 files when compressing to PVRTC RGBA. PVRTC textures with alpha and saved as legacy should now display correctly.
  • Fixed issue with D3D RGB 888 and RGBA 8888 formats in Legacy PVR files as they were incorrectly flagged.
  • Fixed rare crash bug on certain textures when compressing to PVRTC.
