For over a decade our technology division has been creating unique, patented semiconductor IP (Intellectual Property) cores for multimedia and communications applications including:

• Digital radio and audio
• Mobile multimedia & Personal Media Players (PMP)
• Car navigation / information
• Ultra-mobile PCs (UMPC) & Mobile Internet Devices (MID)
• Digital TV and Set-top Box (STB)
• Mobile TV

Our business model is based on IP licensing with up-front license and design services fees, as well as per-unit royalties. Additionally, we offer a wide range of services including tools, support, customization and full SoC design.

Our Technology division has three IP families: POWERVR visual IP, ENSIGMA communications IP, and META multi-threaded processor / DSP IP. The IP is extremely flexible and customizable, enabling us to address many markets. By integrating one or more of our technologies in their SoCs, our customers can create semiconductor solutions for a world of products across many key consumer electronics markets.
