Technology Division

For over a decade our technology division has been creating unique, patented semiconductor IP (Intellectual Property) cores for multimedia and communications applications including:

• mobile phone multimedia
• handheld multimedia
• home consumer
• mobile computing
• in-car electronics

Our business model is based on IP licensing with up-front license and design services fees, as well as per-unit royalties. Additionally, we offer a wide range of services including tools, support, customization and full SoC design.

Our Technology division produces three IP families: PowerVR visual IP, Ensigma communications IP, and Meta multi-threaded processor IP. This IP is extremely flexible and customizable, enabling us to address many markets. By integrating one or more of our technologies in their SoCs, our customers can create semiconductor solutions for a world of products across many key consumer electronics markets.
