Many of our partners are also now moving into this rapidly growing market, with some of the latest SoC applications processors incorporating PowerVR graphics now being recognised as attractive solutions. Imagination has addressed the demand for increased heterogeneous processing in mobile computing systems by enabling computing nodes across all our technologies – PowerVR GPUs, multi-threaded MIPS CPUs, PowerVR video and Ensigma radio processors.

The MIPS portfolio of processor architectures and cores provide a broad range of solutions ideal for mobile computing applications. MIPS 32-bit and 64-bit cores provide among the highest single thread performance available for a RISC CPU IP core, while minimizing power consumption and silicon area through small die size.
