Sharp has licensed Imagination Technologies' IP for incorporation into Sharp integrated circuits. Sharp has licensed IP cores from all three of Imagination's technology families – META, ENSIGMA and POWERVR.

Sharp entered a multiple-use licensing agreement for Imagination's multi-standard Broadcast Receiver IP Platform and has created the world's first multi-standard T-DMB / DVB-H mobile TV module utlising that technology.
