Sharp has licensed Imagination Technologies' IP for incorporation into Sharp integrated circuits. Sharp has licensed IP cores from all three of Imagination's technology families – META, ENSIGMA and POWERVR.

Recently Sharp entered a new multiple-use licensing agreement for Imagination's multi-standard Broadcast Receiver IP Platform.
