VXD Video Decoder IP Core Family
PowerVR™ VXD Video Decoder IP cores are multi-standard, multi-stream, highdefinition video decoders. The cores decode video from the bit stream level such as ES level or NAL units and provide all the bit stream parsing and algorithmic functions required by various video standards, including entropy decoding, inverse scan, inverse transform, motion compensation, deblocking and overlap filtering.
H.264 MVC support is available, to meet the stereoscopic 3D requirements of Blu-ray and other applications.
Stress and syntax test streams from the ISO, IEC, Allegro and Microsoft, as well as real-world streams (both off-air and supplied by customers), have helped ensure multistandard compliance.
