As the holiday season starts to fade to a distant memory the reality of CES is once again looming large our horizons, promising a new flurry of technology announcements to try and make sense of. As the saying goes, what happens in Vegas, gets talked about in tech blogs for the next three weeks or so – or something like that.

Whatever your area of interest, from mobile to consumer, to automotive, – it’s all there at CES and for those in the industry creating the technology that sits inside these products, it’s a great opportunity to chat face to face with the experts that can make your strategy come to life.

Imagination will be attending CES 2019 and it will be a great opportunity to come and meet us face to face and get the inside track on what we’re doing in 2019. We enjoyed many designs wins during 2018, with our GPUs inside smartphones from the likes of HTC, Xiaomi and Nokia, in tablets from Acer, Chromebooks from Lenovo, and retro console reboots from Sony in the form of the PlayStation Classic.

For 2019, we have our recent second-gen Series9 GPUs, which take our performance efficiency to new levels and can make the ideal choice for next-gen SoCs, whether it’s small, low-cost GPU for an entry-level smartphone, or a premium flagship high-end device. AI is only going to increase in significance this year and our Series3NX neural network accelerator, which picked up four awards during 2018, is now available for licensing.

We’ve also got new developments from our Ensigma wireless communications division to talk about, with low-power GNSS location IP that promises to revolutionise the IoT.

We’ll be located at the Piazza Hospitality Suite at the Venetian hotel and to arrange a meeting with us, just drop us an email at ces@imgtec.com.
