Ensigma™ Broadcast is a family of high-performance IP cores for digital television and audio broadcast reception. The IP is specifically designed to meet the requirements for consumer electronics markets such as Home Entertainment.

The Ensigma Broadcast IP provides a flexible platform for solutions requiring both high performance and design flexibility. Ensigma Broadcast solutions enable a single IP core to be configured for multiple products, reducing time to market and design costs. Utilising the unique flexible Ensigma architecture, multiple solutions can be configured to precisely support only the broadcast protocols required for each individual solution. Solutions are available in a wide range of performance capabilities, from single-standard to multi-standard implementations.

Using an industry proven solution, the Ensigma Digital TV demodulation IP platform provides a generic architecture that supports multiple TV standards. Proven and efficient unique hardware architecture combines multiple programmable processing engines, along with hardware accelerators for common high-throughput operations such as error correction and filtering. Demodulation standards are implemented in software while utilising the hardware acceleration features within the hardware platform.
