Ensigma™ Connectivity is a family of high-performance and low-power IP solutions for wireless standards such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and IEEE 802.15.4 based solutions such as Zigbee and Thread. The IP is specifically designed to meet the communications requirements for low-power consumption markets such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and wearables. The Ensigma low-power BLE / IEEE 802.15.4 GF 22FDX IP solution is a complete ready to market IP package including integrated RF, baseband with modem hardware and firmware up to the Host Controller Interface (BLE) and MAC (IEEE 802.15.4). The IP is supplied as a laid-out macro for the analogue section and synthesisable RTL for the digital baseband processor & link layer controller sections, enabling maximum flexibility and fastest time to market with reduced development costs.

The BLE / IEEE 802.15.4 GF 22FDX IP solution enables compact ultra-small form factor solutions with minimal external components, reducing silicon costs and system level eBOM costs. Utilising advanced design techniques and process technology to deliver the lowest active and idle power, the Ensigma low-power BLE / IEEE 802.15.4 GF 22FDX IP solution extends the system battery life while maintaining consistent connectivity and complimented by a rich set of Wi-Fi coexistence features.
