Ensigma™ Connectivity is a family of high-performance and low power IP solutions for wireless standards such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and IEEE 802.15.4 based solutions such as Zigbee and Thread. The IP is specifically designed to meet the communications requirements for the low-power consumption markets such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and wearables. Ensigma Connectivity solutions implement all of the communication requirements for complex low-power System on Chips (SoCs).

The Ensigma high-performance Wi-Fi baseband IP provides a highly flexible, dual-band Wi-Fi solution that is capable of supporting up to IEEE 802.11ac 2×2 MIMO and provides a complete physical and MAC layer. It uses a hardware and software framework which is combined with hardware accelerators and a high-speed flexible DMA fabric to provide a complete and highly optimised, yet flexible IEEE 802.11ac IP solution.

The Ensigma high-performance Wi-Fi baseband IP solution enables compact form factor solutions reducing silicon costs. Utilising advanced design techniques to deliver the optimum power/performance, the Ensigma high-performance Wi-Fi baseband IP solution extends the system battery life without compromising on performance, maintaining consistent connectivity and complimented by a rich set of Wi-Fi features.
