Since the initial Wi-Fi standard was established in 1997 there have been a number of new versions over the years – through 802.11g to 802.11n and most recently to 802.11ac. This process of iterative improvements is still continuing with the development of the next Wi-Fi standard, 802.11ax. Although 802.11ax will deliver a small increase in the headline data rate, the majority of the features are designed to enhance robustness and improve the user experience – particularly in crowded environments.

In this webinar, Imagination will look at the proposed features that will be introduced with 802.11ax and discusses how they will improve the performance of Wi-Fi for users.
