IGT Launches New PowerVR Based Gaming Machines at Vegas Show

IGT showcased many new gaming machines utilizing PowerVR graphics technology at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E). The annual trade show for new casino products took place from Sept. 16-18 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. New games featuring PowerVR included: Star Wars – A New Hope; Drew Carey; Wheel of Fortune: Triple Action; Wheel of Fortune: Money Spin; Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous; Brasil Slingo; Dick Clark’s Rock’n New Year’s Eve; Elvis: Multi Strike; and Monty Python: Quest for the Holy Grail.

IGT’s new AVP™ platform includes PowerVR graphics. AVP is the next generation of slot machines, with enough computing power to produce vibrant 3D-like video and theatre-style audio.
