London, UK – 22nd March 2013 – Imagination
Technologies
(IMG.L), a leading multimedia,
processor, communications and cloud technologies company, announces
that its CEO Hossein Yassaie will deliver the Tuesday morning keynote address
at the upcoming Synopsys
Users Group (SNUG™) Silicon Valley conference
. Yassaie will present,
“From Crystal Ball to Reality – The Impact of Silicon IP on SoC Design,” at
9:00 a.m. on 26th March, at the Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa
Clara, California.

Says Yassaie: “I am delighted to be invited by
Synopsys to present the keynote at its highly-regarded SNUG event. SoCs have
transformed the electronics industry, integrating a wide array of functionality
and extreme performance into cost-effective, low-power platforms. At the same
time, the silicon IP industry has emerged to supply many major functional
blocks on today’s SoCs. I will discuss how IP helps designers translate vision
into reality, and explore the future of SoC design, where the GPU is the new
driving force for modern applications, design methodologies and process
technologies, and heterogeneous processing is transforming the way SoCs handle
key user applications.”

Says Antun Domic, senior vice president, Implementation
Group, Synopsys: “Now in its 22nd year, SNUG brings together more than 9,000 Synopsys tool and technology users through its
conferences worldwide, and it has grown to be Silicon Valley’s largest
technical conference. We invited Hossein to speak this year because of his
vision and innovation. The use of IP is becoming increasingly important in
terms of meeting time-to-market and design complexity requirements. We look
forward to what is certain to be a compelling keynote from Hossein that will
provide valuable insights for our user community.”
