Imagination Technologies at SoC/SiP Developers Conference 2005

Leader in Mobile Multimedia Technologies at Conference

London; UK: Imagination Technologies, a leader in system-on-chip intellectual property (SoC IP), will be presenting its licensable IP technology at the SoC/SiP developers conference 2005 on May 20th 2005 at the Tokyo conference centre. The event is sponsored by Nikkei Microdevices.

Kazu Okazaki, senior manager, Imagination Technologies KK, will present an in depth exploration of mobile entertainment technologies including the PowerVR MBX graphics and video IP and mobile-TV IP enabling ISDB-Tss and DVB-H devices.

PowerVR MBX has rapidly been established as the de facto standard for high-performance graphics and video on mobile phones and PDAs. PowerVR MBX is being employed by leading semiconductor companies worldwide, including: Freescale; Intel; Philips; Renesas (in SH-M3); Samsung; and TI (in OMAP2).

Other Imagination Technologies’ IP is already shipping in mobile consumer products for the DAB and T-DMB markets and has been licensed for use in future DVB-H products.
