PURE launches its most affordable quality bedside digital radio

Siesta Mi: The ‘me-time’ bedside radio

London, UK 26th August 2010: PURE, the world-leading radio maker presents Siesta Mi, the ’me-time‘ bedside radio that delivers an affordable and user-friendly way to wake up to quality digital radio.

At £39.99 (SRP), Siesta Mi* is PURE’s most affordable quality bedside digital radio. Incredibly easy-to-use, Siesta Mi is a compact version of the PURE Siesta, which has been the best selling bedside radio in the UK since launch**.

Says Colin Crawford, PURE’s director of marketing: “Siesta Mi, in conjunction with the equally affordable ONE Mi, will truly take digital radio mainstream. At such a great value price, why would anyone consider buying an analogue radio which would be virtually obsolete within a few years? Siesta Mi is the perfectly affordable way to wake up to your favourite digital radio station.”

Siesta Mi has been designed with usability as the number one priority. Two independent alarms can be set to wake the user to digital radio, FM or a tone, and can be switched on or off at the touch of a button. The large clear display is easy to read at night and automatically adjusts to suit the light levels of the room. Sleep and snooze timers allow the user to go to speep and wake up in a relaxed frame of mind, and despite its compact dimensions, Siesta Mi has also been engineered to provide surprisingly punchy audio quality and volume.

Siesta Mi is part of EcoPlus™, PURE’s ethical philosophy and ongoing commitment to look after the environment. All PURE products are designed to minimise their environmental impact and manufactured in ethically approved facilities. They have reduced power consumption in operation and standby, use recycled packaging materials, have the smallest possible packaging and components selected to minimise environmental impact.
