Careers & Opportunities

We love what we do

The people at Imagination define the technology shaping our world, from pioneering smartphones and televisions to advanced wearables and semi-autonomous vehicles. Our continuous innovation in graphics and artificial intelligence enables our customers to make world-changing electronic products that people love. Want to be part of a team? We’ll encourage you to pursue your passions. We listen; we’re open; we’re honest. Whatever you need, you’ll be respected and helped along the way.

Create the future

You might be asking yourself exactly what we do. We create semiconductor intellectual property (IP), ‘blueprints’ for the processors or chips that power electronic devices. Dreamcast, PlayStation Vita, iPhone: just three game-changing products that contained Imagination’s technology at their heart. Today our technologies are instrumental in key segments such as mobile; consumer; automotive; IoT; AR/VR; security; vision and AI.

Graduate and Student Vacancies

As a student or graduate with us, you can play an integral part in creating, delivering and supporting our technologies – whether your background is in electronics, maths, physics or computer science. We also have occasional graduate opportunities in non-technical roles. Our core requirements are software skills in C/C++ programming and hardware skills in digital design.

Surrounded by supportive and knowledgeable engineers, you’ll find our modern offices a dynamic and professional place to be. And despite all the serious work we do, we pride ourselves on our informal and relaxed atmosphere (and dress code).

Life at Imagination

School Students

If you have already left or plan to leave school at 16 or 18 and don’t wish to continue in full-time further education, we may have some apprenticeship or full-time opportunities for you.

If we are considering you for an apprenticeship this will involve some part-time study while the rest of the apprenticeship is undertaken in the work place, learning on the job.

Sometimes we even keep the apprentice on if there is a position available and it is going well.
